I need a working prototype of a plastic dustbin designed for public spaces. Picture one large, round or square outer shell that remains fixed and has one opening port at top , and inside it four separate inner compartments. Each compartment is linked to its own colour-coded foot pedal on the exterior rim; when a pedal is pressed, only the matched compartment swings or slides to align with the outer input port so waste drops neatly inside the selected section.
The core challenge lies in the pedal-to-compartment mechanism: it must operate smoothly, survive repeated public use, and reset without manual assistance.
