Fishing Reel Part CAD Reverse-Engineering
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a small mechanical component from a fishing reel that I need turned into an accurate 3D CAD model. The original part is on hand and can be shipped or measured together over a video call—whatever lets you capture every precise dimension, complex contour, and even subtle surface texture that matters for injection-moulded reproduction.
I’ll supply high-resolution photos and any reference measurements I’ve already taken, but I’m relying on you to complete a full digital reconstruction. When you’re finished I’d like:
• A native file in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar plus a neutral STEP/IGES
• Clearly dimensioned 2D drawings suitable for machining or mould tooling
• A brief note on any tolerances or texture call-outs you had to infer
I’ll review by overlaying your files against the physical part and checking the drawings for completeness. If everything lines up within the agreed tolerances, the job is done.
