Extract MS Quantities From DWG

I have a DWG drawing that represents a mild-steel (MS) fabrication and I need a clear, reliable breakdown of how much material is actually there. The task is straightforward: open the supplied DWG, analyse every object in the model space (nothing is to be excluded), and deliver the total surface area, enclosed volume and corresponding weight based on standard MS density.

Deliverables
• A concise table (Excel or CSV) showing the grand totals for surface area (m²), volume (m³) and weight (kg) of all objects.
• A short PDF note summarising your calculation method, the density value used, and any assumptions needed to close the numbers (for example, whether hollow sections were treated as solid).

Acceptance criteria
• When I open your workbook and cross-check random entities, the summed figures must match to within normal CAD rounding tolerance.
• All geometry in the DWG is accounted for—no stray parts missing.
