Expert Hardware & Mechanical Engineer (PCB Layout + 3D CAD) for Modular Medical Device

Project Overview:
We are developing the BIOPULSE TRIO-SCAN, an innovative, modular diagnostic device. The system consists of ONE Main Unit (Hub) based on an ESP32-S3 microcontroller, and THREE distinct interchangeable cartridges (Bio-Chemical, Cardio-Physical with dry electrodes, and Geno-Scan with micro-heating traces).
We have already completed the system architecture, component selection, and conceptual design. We are looking for an experienced Hardware & Mechanical Engineer to turn our specifications into manufacturing-ready files.
What We Will Provide:
A detailed Technical Product Specification (TPS).
A defined preliminary Bill of Materials (BOM), including the ESP32-S3 and ADS1299.
High-quality 3D concept renders of the external enclosure to guide your mechanical design.
Scope of Work:
Your mission is to handle both the electronic routing and the mechanical enclosure design to ensure everything fits perfectly.
Electronic Engineering: Design the schematics and PCB layout for the Hub and the 3 Cartridges based on our BOM. Ensure proper routing for low-noise analog signals (ADS1299) separated from digital/RF signals (ESP32-S3).
Mechanical Engineering: Design the 3D enclosure (plastic injection ready) based on our concept art.
The Critical Interface: You must engineer the physical connection between the Hub and the cartridges. This involves a custom magnetic locking mechanism and a 6-pad pogo-pin interface for data/power transmission.
Final Deliverables Required:
For Electronics: Complete Gerber files (RS-274X), NC Drill files, Pick & Place files, and updated BOM.
For Mechanics: 3D CAD files (STEP format) and native files (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Altium) ready for CNC machining/injection molding at our partner facility (NexPCB).
Required Skills:
Advanced experience in PCB Design (Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle).
Advanced experience in 3D Mechanical CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
Prior experience designing wearable or portable medical devices.
Strong understanding of DFM (Design For Manufacturing) and DFA (Design For Assembly) for Chinese factories.
