Enhance Consumer Electronics 3D Model

Job ID: 40281501

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I already have a detailed 3D CAD file for a small consumer-electronics device, but a recent feature upgrade means the internal and external layout must change. The core task is to add or remove components so the product’s functionality and features match the new specification. At this stage I’m still finalising exactly which elements will shift—think extra buttons, revised I/O ports, or a small display—but the model must accommodate the new design without compromising wall thickness, fastening points, or draft angles for injection-moulded plastics.

You’ll start from my native file (STEP and the original SolidWorks model) and deliver an updated version that:

• Integrates the new components cleanly, with correct clearances for PCB, battery and heat-generating parts
• Preserves existing mounting bosses, screw posts and gasket grooves where possible
• Exports correctly to STEP and STL with no broken faces or non-manifold edges

I’ll provide the current CAD, the revised board outline and a dimensioned drawing of the added parts as soon as the project kicks off. Let me know which CAD package you prefer—SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Creo are all fine—and your typical turnaround for an iteration so we can plan review rounds efficiently.
