Educational Robot CAD Design
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I’m looking for a complete CAD model of an educational robot aimed squarely at teenagers (13–18 years old). The core learning activity it will support is still open for discussion, so I want a design that stays flexible enough to accept different sensor packs, micro-controller boards (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.), and small add-ons as we refine the curriculum.
What I need from you is a clean, manufacturable mechanical design—no electronics layout yet—delivered as fully editable 3-D files plus ready-to-print exports. Please work in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable professional tool so we can collaborate smoothly and hand off to fabrication without extra conversions.
Deliverables
• Native CAD files of every part and the full assembly
• STEP and STL exports suitable for 3-D printing or light CNC machining
• An exploded assembly drawing with a concise bill of materials
• A short motion study or animation that demonstrates the basic articulation
Acceptance criteria
• Every component fits a 300 × 300 × 300 mm build volume (or smaller)
• Parts rely on readily available fasteners and hand-tool assembly
• Design leaves reserved space for a battery pack, controller board, and two standard sensor modules
