Detailed Timber Frame Home Plans

I already hold a full architectural set for a residential single-family house and now need that vision translated into a complete timber-frame package. Your task is to take the provided drawings and produce all documentation required for fabrication and on-site assembly—every post, beam, connection, and joint detailed in a way that any experienced carpenter or shop can follow without guesswork.

Because the architectural design is finished, the focus is strictly on structural timber work: sizing and grading members, joinery layout, connection hardware, and any shear or uplift solutions that keep the house compliant with local codes. Accurate 2D and, ideally, 3D models are expected; I typically review DWG/DXF for plans and elevations and would value a coordinated BIM model in Revit, ArchiCAD, or Tekla if that fits your workflow.

Deliverables
• Fully dimensioned framing plans, sections, and elevations
• Connection details with fastener schedules and timber grades
• Material take-off / cut list ready for ordering
• Structural calculation summary to confirm code compliance
• Exported 3D model (IFC or native) for clash checking
