3D Designer Needed for Accurate Housing Development Models (3D Printing)

We are a modular housing development company looking for a skilled 3D designer to create highly accurate housing development models for 3D printing.

You will be provided with site plans and housing layouts, and your role will be to convert these into precise, print-ready 3D models at either 1:30 or 1:50 scale.

We require fast turnaround times, high attention to detail, and professional-quality outputs suitable for presentation and development planning.

Key Responsibilities
• Convert 2D plans into accurate 3D models
• Design full housing developments (multiple units + site layout)
• Ensure models are scaled correctly (1:30 or 1:50)
• Prepare files ready for 3D printing (STL/OBJ)
• Select appropriate filament type (e.g. TPE/PLA) and colour recommendations
• Deliver clean, efficient designs within tight timeframes (same-day where possible)

Requirements
• Strong experience in 3D modelling for architecture or construction
• Experience with 3D printing workflows
• Ability to produce highly accurate, dimensionally correct models
• Proficiency in tools such as:
• SketchUp / Revit / AutoCAD / Fusion 360 / Blender
• Ability to work quickly (a few hours per project)
• Good communication and ability to follow plans precisely
