Design Industrial Manufacturing Equipment

Job ID: 40035512

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have an early-stage concept for a piece of industrial equipment whose sole purpose is to streamline a manufacturing line. The idea is clear in my head and roughly sketched on paper, but it now needs the discipline of professional mechanical design to become a fully engineered product.

What I need from you is end-to-end product design: turning the concept into 3D CAD models, performing the necessary FEA to verify structural integrity, selecting materials and off-the-shelf components, and preparing production-ready drawings. I am open to your suggestions on manufacturability, safety standards, and cost-effective assembly methods; however, the equipment must ultimately be robust enough for continuous factory use.

Deliverables
• Initial concept refinement and layout sketches
• Detailed 3D CAD models (SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent)
• Stress and fatigue analysis reports
• Exploded assembly drawing, part drawings, and complete BOM
• Brief report summarising material choices, manufacturing processes, and maintenance considerations

I plan to handle prototyping locally once the design package is finished, so the files you hand over should be ready for CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, and standard industrial sourcing. If this scope matches your expertise in designing new manufacturing equipment, I look forward to collaborating and bringing this machine to life.
