Design of Adjustable Sim Racing Cockpit (Manufacturing Ready)
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
We require a Mechanical Design Engineer to create a manufacturing-ready CAD design of a Sim Racing Cockpit.
The rig will be fabricated using Mild Steel tubes and used in a commercial gaming arena.
Requirements:
Adjustable steering mount (height + tilt)
Adjustable pedal plate (distance + angle)
Seat slider mechanism
Single monitor stand support (32–43 inch)
Compact footprint (~1300mm × 600mm)
Must support 150 kg user load
Must handle 15–25 Nm steering torque (Direct Drive wheel)
Deliverables:
3D CAD Model (SolidWorks / Fusion 360 preferred)
2D fabrication drawings with dimensions
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Basic structural strength consideration
Design must be optimized for Indian manufacturing and cost efficiency.
Timeline: 2–3 weeks
