DFM Optimization for Injection Molded ABS Parts
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We have 5 maybe 6 ABS plastic parts originally modeled for 3D printing that need to be optimized for injection molding. STEP files and part drawings will be provided.
Parts include: base crossbar (560mm long), U-shaped frame, and two leg variants (mirrored). There is also a ball holder part (100mm tall x 50mm deep x 30mm wide).
Work required:
Adjust wall thickness to 2.5–3mm throughout all parts
Add draft angles for mold release
Add internal ribbing for structural support
Maintain full material thickness around a 15.1mm pivot hole (critical structural point)
Add flat surface at leg end for anti-slip stopper attachment
Add flat recessed surface on base underside for anti-slip pad attachment
Deliver updated STEP files and drawings upon completion
Must have specific injection molding DFM experience. This is not a generalist CAD job. Budget is fixed price. Please include examples of previous injection molding DFM work in your proposal.
