I have a single-part component fully laid out in Visio as a 2D drawing, complete with every critical dimension. What I need now is a clean, watertight 3D CAD model that mirrors those measurements precisely so I can move straight on to 3D printing without extra edits.
You are free to work in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or any comparable parametric package—whatever lets you hit the numbers accurately. The only non-negotiable is that every feature, hole, and profile in the Visio file transfers over at the exact sizes shown.
Deliverables
• Native CAD file from your software of choice
• Print-ready STL (and STEP if convenient) matching the supplied dimensions
Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions within ±0.1 mm of the Visio drawing
• Model exports without manifold or tolerance errors and slices correctly for FDM printing
Once we confirm the first part meets spec, there will likely be more pieces to convert, so a smooth, accurate turnaround here is important. Let me know if you need the Visio file in another format or have any quick clarifying questions before starting.
