Custom Micarta Mold STL Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an STL file to create a CNC-machined mold for custom micarta.
Requirements:
- Mold material: Plastic
- Shape: Round
- Features: CARLSON repeated along a circular array for guitar rosettes. The outside diameter is 5.558” and the inside diameter is 4.308”. The letters should act as the high spot, and then from the edges of the letters it needs to ramp down .125”.
After the micarta is pressed and glued using this mold, it will be sanded flat to reveal the pattern of CARLSON repeated along the circular rosette.
It cannot just be embossed letters, They need to have a smooth transition from the high spot to the low spot.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Experience creating STL files for CNC machining
- Knowledge of mold design and texturing techniques
