Custom Mechanical Component Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a concept for a single mechanical part that now needs to be transformed into a fully-defined component ready for manufacture. I will share sketches, target dimensions and operating conditions; you will turn these into an engineered design that balances strength, weight and manufacturability.
What I am expecting from you:
• 3D CAD model (STEP/IGES + native file)
• Detailed 2D drawings with tolerances, fits and surface finish notes
• Basic stress or performance verification (hand-calcs or FEA) to show the part meets the stated load cases
• A short design note explaining material choice and any assumptions made
Preferred tools are SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor, though I am open to equivalents if they export clean STEP files. All intellectual property will transfer to me on full payment.
Please include a brief note on similar component projects you have completed and the software you will use. If you have questions about loads, interfaces or production methods, raise them early so we can lock requirements before cutting metal.
