Custom Glass Cosmetic Bottle Prototype
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a new round glass bottle in mind for a premium cosmetic line and need help turning the concept into a tangible reality. Starting from my rough sketches and size notes, I’d like a clean 3D model that captures the curves, wall thickness and neck finish required for standard cosmetic pumps.
When the digital model meets the brief, I’ll need a first physical prototype to confirm ergonomics and shelf appeal before committing to full-scale tooling. You can suggest the most practical prototyping route—CNC, SLA, or another technique—as long as the result accurately represents the final glass form.
Deliverables
• Production-ready 3D CAD files (STEP or IGES) plus a lightweight OBJ for quick previews
• Two photorealistic renders showing the bottle filled and empty, against a white background
• One functional prototype with a smooth, round profile and correct neck threads
Acceptance criteria
1. Dimensions match my provided spec sheet to ±0.2 mm.
2. Render lighting highlights clarity and gloss typical of flint glass.
3. Prototype stands level, supports a standard 24/410 pump, and shows no visible layer lines on the main body.
Please tell me your preferred CAD software, estimated turnaround for each stage, and any questions you need answered before we begin.
