I’m ready to move our desktop line into sturdy, retail-ready plastic cases and I need a specialist who can take the project from concept to manufacturing hand-off. The computers involved are full-size desktops, so the solution has to protect a tower chassis during shipping as well as look sharp on a shelf.

The job includes:
• Creating the structural design for a reusable plastic case that fits standard desktop dimensions, allows quick unboxing, and passes basic drop-test requirements.
• Integrating my company’s branding directly onto the case—logos, colour palette, and any molded or printed graphics.
• Supplying production-ready 3D files (STEP or IGES), material recommendations, and artwork files so a manufacturer can quote immediately.

I’m open to suggestions on resin types, hinge mechanisms, and interior supports as long as the final design stays lightweight and cost-efficient. If you have prior examples of branded plastic packaging, especially for electronics, please share them so I can compare approaches.

Acceptance criteria will be a full design package approved by our manufacturer, along with a short guide for assembly and QC checkpoints. Let’s create packaging that protects our desktops and looks unmistakably ours.
