Custom 3D CAD Wire Slitter Block Design

Job ID: 40533213

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

Title: 3D CAD Design for Custom Wire Stripper / Guide Block (.STL / .STEP)

Project Description:
I need a mechanical 3D CAD model designed for a static, bench-mounted mid-span cable slitter block. This part will be used on an automated wire-processing machine. A motorized winder pulls raw electrical cable through this block, and it must precisely score the outer jacket without damaging the inner copper cores.

The final model must be delivered in .STEP and .STL formats, fully optimized for 3D printing (FDM/SLS).

Exact Design Specifications:
* Main Body: A solid, compact rectangular block (approx. 50mm x 50mm x 60mm, but use your engineering judgment for structural stability).
* Internal Channel: A perfectly straight, smooth 5.5mm circular internal tunnel running completely through the center of the block to act as a self-centering cable guide.
* Blade Insets: Two thin, vertical slots (one on top, one on the bottom) that tightly intersect the 5.5mm internal tunnel. These slots must be precisely dimensioned to securely hold a standard trapezoidal utility knife blade (OX Pro / Stanley style, 0.6mm thickness).
* Micro-Adjustment System: Model two vertical threaded holes aligned directly above the blade slots to fit standard M3 or M4 grub screws. This allows us to mechanically push the blades down into the channel to a precise depth of exactly 0.55mm.
* Waste Ejection Wedge: An integrated internal wedge or descending ramp at the exit point of the 5.5mm channel. This must physically separate the sliced outer PVC jacket and route it downward through a hole in the bottom of the block.

Deliverables Required:
1. 3D CAD Files: 1x .STEP file (for future editing) and 1x .STL file (high resolution for 3D printing).
2. 2D Technical Drawing: A basic PDF schematic with core dimensions showing the blade placement and internal channel alignment.
