Coronarita Lid CAD Redesign
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have an original Coronarita lid in hand and need a faithful 3D CAD reproduction that is accurate enough to hand straight to a manufacturer. The exterior geometry should remain true to the original, but the internal diameter must seat perfectly on a standard 16 oz cup.
Beyond that fit adjustment, I’d like a subtle branded touch—either an embossed or debossed logo/text panel integrated into the top surface without compromising the lid’s seal or overall strength.
Scope
• Reverse-engineer the lid from physical reference (photos, scans, or dimensions I supply).
• Build a solid, fully-defined model suitable for CNC or injection-mold tooling—tight tolerances, correct draft angles, and uniform wall thickness.
• Incorporate the logo/text area so it is ready for engraving or molding.
Deliverables
• Native CAD file (your platform of choice) plus STEP and IGES exports.
• A short dimensional drawing or PDF to verify critical measurements (cup interface, snap features, overall height).
• Confirmation that the model passes a simple interference check when placed on a 16 oz cup ring (I can send the profile if needed).
If you’ve handled reverse engineering for consumer plastics before and are comfortable hitting manufacturing precision, I’d love to see a sample of your work.
