Convert 3D Scans to SolidWorks

Job ID: 40419173

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have two solid parts that were captured with a Revopoint Metra Y Ultra. The raw data is ready in both the native Revo Metro format and plain .PLY, so you can pick whichever import path you prefer. What I need back is a pair of fully-defined SolidWorks .sldprt files that I can drop straight into CAM for machining new handles/grips on a vertical CNC.

Dimensional faithfulness is critical, but I also need true, editable features—no dumb solids—so I can tweak radii and grip thickness later. Please base the models on the scans I supply plus the three reference screenshots; feel free to request any additional measurements you think will improve accuracy.

Deliverables:
• Two native SolidWorks .sldprt files, feature-based and fully parametric
• Any auxiliary files or notes that document your reverse-engineering process and key dimensions

Acceptance criteria:
• All critical surfaces match the scan within typical CNC tolerances (±0.1 mm or better)
• Files open cleanly in SolidWorks 2020 or later with no missing references
• Feature tree is logically organised and easy to edit

Timeline is ASAP, so let me know how quickly you can turn this around and what checkpoints you propose. I’m especially interested in seeing a concise plan outlining your scan-to-CAD workflow and any similar projects you’ve done.
