Convert STL Mesh to STEP
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m holding a solid STL mesh of a figurative object and I need it in a format that I can continue refining inside Shapr3D. A high-detail STEP file feels like the most sensible target, but I’m open to any alternative that will let me keep every subtle contour fully editable.
During the translation I’d like a light touch of clean-up—minor surface smoothing, closing any stray gaps, and correcting mesh artifacts that would otherwise slow me down once I bring it into Shapr3D. No animation or rigging is involved; the goal is a pristine, parametric model ready for further design tweaks.
Deliverables
• High-fidelity, watertight STEP file (or better alternative you recommend)
• Original and converted models supplied in a shared folder so I can cross-check accuracy
The photo shows the same object in different sizes but it's just one object required.
If this quick conversion with slight optimisations fits your skill set, let’s get it done.
