Consumer Product Prototype Design

I have a physical, consumer-facing product that has already moved past the initial concept sketch. I now need a product designer who can turn those early visuals into a manufacturable prototype. Your role is to translate my ideas into detailed 3D CAD models, select suitable materials, and refine the form so it’s both visually appealing and production-ready.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar CAD files with full part and assembly drawings
• Clear exploded views and dimensional drawings ready for CNC or injection-mold tooling quotes
• A short bill of materials noting preferred materials, finishes, and any off-the-shelf components
• Two or three photorealistic renders that communicate final look and feel to potential investors
• Optional guidance on sourcing quick-turn prototypes or small-batch manufacturing partners

Expect a collaborative process with one or two feedback rounds to lock geometry, ergonomics, and ease of assembly. If you’ve shepherded consumer products from sketch to functional prototype before, I’d love to see examples—especially anything you’ve taken through DFM and initial production.
