Concept Mechanical Assembly CAD Layout
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have an early-stage mechanical design sketched out on paper and need it translated into a clean, fully-detailed CAD layout that can guide assembly on the shop floor. The focus is not on manufacturing tolerances yet, but on how every part fits together—fastener locations, clearances, and motion paths—so technicians can pick it up and know exactly what goes where.
You’ll take my hand-drawn drawings, photos, and notes, model the parts, and arrange them in an exploded assembly view. From there, I’ll need:
• A native CAD file (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360—whichever you use)
• A STEP export for anyone without that software
• A clearly labeled exploded view with callouts that double as assembly instructions
• A compact PDF drawing set with overall dimensions and part references
Speed is important: I’d like to kick this off immediately and review a first draft within a few days. Once we lock the concept, we can discuss any follow-on detail or simulation work, but for now the deliverable stops at a production-ready assembly layout.
