Composite GreenPod Enclosure CAD Design
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I’ve developed the concept for “GreenPod,” a balcony-sized, multi-zone smart farming system, and now I need a mechanical designer who can turn that vision into a fully manufacturable 3D CAD assembly. The enclosure must:
• Use composite materials as the primary structure—lightweight yet stiff enough to handle distributed water and plant loads.
• Stand up to year-round outdoor exposure, so drainage paths, UV-resistant surfaces, and sealed electronics bays are essential.
• Arrive to customers in modular sections that a single person can snap or screw together in tight balcony spaces, with sensible weight distribution and a low center of gravity.
I’ll supply preliminary sketches, component sizes for pumps, sensors, controllers, and a rough footprint; you’ll translate that into:
1. A complete parametric CAD model (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) with clear sub-assemblies.
2. 2D manufacturing drawings, tolerances, exploded views, and a concise BOM.
3. Assembly, service, and packaging guidelines that a contract manufacturer can follow without guesswork.
4. FEA or basic load checks that verify weight distribution and wind-load stability.
There’s no rush—I’m more concerned with thoughtful engineering than speed—so we can set milestones that make sense for iterative reviews and design for manufacture feedback.
When you respond, attach a detailed project proposal outlining your approach, software of choice, and any relevant past work that proves you’ve moved composite or outdoor enclosures from CAD to production. I’m happy to answer technical questions as they arise so the final design is ready for tooling and pilot builds.
