Complete Modal FEA Report
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m looking for an experienced FEA engineer to perform a complete structural analysis of a Mild Steel (MS) Cable Drum.
The objective is to evaluate its structural performance and safety under various loading and transport conditions.
Scope of Work includes:
Static Structural Analysis – Evaluate stress, strain, and deformation under full cable load; assess flange and barrel strength under vertical and torsional loads.
Dynamic / Truck Transportation Analysis – Simulate real-world transport conditions (vibration, bump, cornering, braking); estimate equivalent stresses and safety factors.
Modal Analysis – Identify natural frequencies and ensure no resonance under transport vibration.
Contact & Connection Evaluation – Check bolted and welded joints, flange-barrel, and channel connections for stress and deformation.
Safety Evaluation & Optimization – Calculate Factor of Safety, locate critical stress regions, and recommend thickness/reinforcement improvements if needed.
Requirements:
Proficiency in SolidWorks Simulation, or similar FEA software
Experience with steel structures, drums, or pressure vessel-type components preferred
Deliverables include detailed FEA report (plots, results, conclusions, and recommendations)
