Compact Push-Button Wiper Assembly
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a compact wiper assembly that comes alive with a single push-button press with three speeds , slow, medium and fast and clears a small arc, then parks itself until the next activation. The unit will live permanently outdoors, so every exposed part must be stainless steel or otherwise weather-sealed for rain, UV and temperature swings.
Feel free to choose the driving mechanism that keeps cost to an absolute minimum—rotary, linear, oscillating, or any hybrid you can justify. I only care that it fits a tight footprint, runs reliably off a low-voltage DC source, and can be sourced or fabricated without specialty tooling.
Deliverables
• 3D CAD files (STEP/SolidWorks) showing all components and overall dimensions
• Motor, linkage and seal selection with vendor links and pricing
• Simple control schematic for the push-button start/park cycle
• Bill of materials with stainless grades called out
• Assembly instructions or short video proving smooth movement on your bench
Acceptance criteria
• One-touch operation: press once to wipe and auto-park
• Fits inside a 120 mm × 60 mm × 40 mm envelope
• All exterior metal = stainless, no corrosion after 200 h salt spray (documented spec)
• Parts list and links show the lowest total cost option available at time of hand-off
If you already have experience designing compact linkages, windshield or headlamp wipers, or hobby CNC projects, you’ll likely finish this quickly. I’ll be responsive with dimensions, photos and any measurements you need, and I’m ready to prototype as soon as the files land.
