Project Description:
I am developing a concept for an automated gold melting and pouring machine intended for jewellery workshops and showrooms. Currently, gold melting is performed manually using crucibles handled with tongs at temperatures above 1000°C, which can be unsafe and inefficient.
The goal of this project is to design a professional 3D CAD model of a compact machine that safely melts gold and allows controlled pouring into a mold without manual handling of the crucible.
Key Functional Concept:
• A compact furnace chamber that holds a crucible for melting gold
• A motorized tilting mechanism that can rotate the crucible holder to pour molten gold into a mold
• A sturdy base frame for stability
• A mechanism arm or holder that secures the crucible during heating and pouring
• Space for heating source (induction heater or furnace chamber placeholder)
• A mold placement platform below the pouring area
• Safety enclosure or shield around the heating area
What I Need From the Designer:
• Professional 3D CAD model (SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / similar)
• Full assembly model of the machine
• Exploded view of the parts
• Dimensioned engineering drawings
• Basic realistic renders for presentation
Design Goals:
