Commercial Truss Roof SketchUp

I need a complete SketchUp model of a roof-truss system for a commercial building that will house a retractable roof. Because I don’t yet have formal architectural plans, you’ll start by turning my basic site measurements, photos, and usage requirements into a workable layout and then develop the full 3-D truss geometry in SketchUp 2023 or newer.

The design must leave a clear corridor for the retractable mechanism while handling standard commercial loads. Whether the solution ends up resembling a king post, Warren, Howe, or a custom hybrid truss, structural clarity and constructability are what matter most. Please organise the model with clean groups/components, logical tags, and scenes that make it easy for an engineer to review.

Deliverables
• Scaled .skp file showing every truss member, labelled and dimension-ready
• PDF framing plan plus two section/elevation sheets generated from the model
• Short design note outlining member sizes, materials, and the space allowance for the retractable panels
