3D Chocolate Mold Design

Project Summary:
This project involved transforming two flat product drawings into 3D CAD models and exporting them as industry-standard .stp (STEP) files. These files are required by our mould maker for the production of initial PET chocolate moulds.

Scope of Work:

We provided detailed flat drawings of two chocolate moulds, including:

Mould 1: Two large Easter egg cavities with embossed design features and approx. 40mm depth.

Mould 2: Multiple smaller patterned egg cavities with 20mm depth.

Both designs feature:

Smooth, classical egg curvature

Clearly marked embossed details and sticker areas, which are to be raised in the final mould

A complete mould plate layout, including margins for PET sheet production

Deliverables:

Two 3D models, one for each mould, in .STP format

Files designed to be manufacture-ready for PET thermoforming or injection moulding processes

Geometry includes all cavity features, dimensions, and layouts as per the original drawings

Purpose:
These STP files will be provided to our mould manufacturing partner to create initial production tooling for chocolate moulds.
