Chassis Component CAD Modelling
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need complete 3 D models and fully-dimensioned 2 D manufacturing drawings for several automotive chassis components. These parts will be CNC-machined, so accuracy in dimensions, tolerances and GD&T is essential. STEP, IGES, STL, DWG and PDF files will be the required hand-off formats.
Scope
• Model each chassis part from my sketches and reference measurements.
• Apply material specs and machining allowances where noted.
• Produce matching 2 D drawings with views, section cuts, hole tables and a clear tolerance block.
Acceptance criteria
• Models open error-free in SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• All critical features match the supplied dimensions to ±0.01 mm.
• Drawings are ready for the machine shop with no missing call-outs.
Although this brief covers only chassis components, I may extend the project later to engine or transmission parts if the first phase runs smoothly.
