Carport CAD Plans
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m preparing to build a carport and I need precise CAD drawings that show a gable-style roof constructed in metal. I’ll provide the span, post layout, and local code requirements as soon as we start; what I need from you are clear construction-ready drawings that I can hand to both my fabricator and the permitting office.
The set should include:
• Dimensioned plans, elevations, and roof sections
• Connection and fastener details suitable for a welded or bolted metal frame
• A simple materials take-off so I can order panels and structural members with confidence
• PDF sheets for permit submission and the original DWG (or compatible) files so my builder can make minor tweaks if needed
You’re free to work in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar—as long as the deliverables open cleanly in AutoCAD 2020. I’ll review the first draft for layout and code notes; once those are approved, we’ll move to final detailing.
If you’ve produced gable carport or light-steel roof drawings before, please mention it and share a sample page. I’m ready to get started right away and would like the initial draft within a week.
