CNC-Ready 3D Metal Toy
Budget: $14 – $30 NZD
I need a complete 3D model of a children’s toy that can go straight from screen to CNC. The end product will be machined in metal and is aimed at kids aged six and up, so it has to balance fun visual appeal with rounded, kid-safe geometry and durable construction.
I’m open on the theme—animal, vehicle, or character—so feel free to pitch whichever concept you can make shine in metal. What matters most is that the design be optimized for a standard three-axis CNC mill: smart parting lines, clean tool access, and minimal post-processing.
Please deliver:
• A watertight native file (STEP or IGES) plus an STL for validation
• Exploded views or call-outs showing assembly or press-fit points, if any
• A brief machining note set (tool sizes, minimum fillets, recommended surface finish)
I’ll test the file in Fusion 360 and run a CAM simulation—if everything produces error-free toolpaths and the part respects basic safety radii, we’re good to go. I’m happy to answer technical questions quickly so you can keep momentum.
