Job Title: Mechanical Engineer for 30-40 TPH Industrial Drum Chipper Design (Laser-Cut Optimized)
Job Description:
I am looking for an expert Mechanical Engineer to design a heavy-duty Drum Chipper with a target capacity of 30-40 tons/hour.
Key Requirements:
• Rotor Design: Staggered blade layout (fishbone/zigzag) to minimize impact.
• Fabrication: Must be optimized for CNC Laser Cutting (Tab-and-Slot joints) to simplify assembly.
• Power Variants: Design must accommodate 3 drive types: Diesel Engine, 3-Phase Electric Motor, and Solar-assisted auxiliary systems.
• Feeding: Hydraulic infeed roller system with No-Stress control.
Required Deliverables:
1. Native 3D CAD Files (SolidWorks preferred).
2. Production-ready 2D Drawings & DXF files.
3. Detailed BOM (Bearings, Hydraulics, Fasteners).
4. Basic FEA/Stress Analysis for the rotor and frame.
