CNC Manufacturing Machine Design
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m looking for a mechanical designer who can take my concept for a CNC-machining production machine and turn it into a fully detailed design package. The end goal is a robust machine that will streamline manufacturing on our shop floor, so every decision—from frame geometry to drive selection—needs to prioritize rigidity, repeatability, and ease of maintenance.
Here’s what I need from you:
• 3D CAD models of the entire machine, including all motion components, guards, and service access points
• Manufacturing-ready drawings (assemblies and individual parts) with tolerances and surface-finish notes suitable for CNC fabrication
• A concise bill of materials that lists off-the-shelf parts alongside any custom components
• Brief design rationale or calculation sheets for critical areas such as spindle mounting, linear rails, and load paths
I use SolidWorks and Fusion 360 in-house, so delivering native files in either format will make revisions smooth, but STEP files are fine if that’s your preference. A quick check-in at the concept stage, another at the detailed layout, and a final sign-off once drawings are complete will keep us on schedule.
If you have a portfolio showing previous CNC machine, fixture, or automation equipment designs, please include it when you reply. I’m ready to start as soon as we settle on the scope and timeline.
