CAD Model for Car Vent Panels
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need two exterior trunk-vent panels from my car turned into precise CAD geometry. The panels include 1-inch spade cutouts that I will mark on the samples. Because these parts were custom-made years ago, I do not have any dimensional drawings; they will have to be physically scanned first and then modeled.
What I’ll supply:
• The original panels, shipped to you (US-based freelancers preferred), so you can perform the scan. Photos and reference notes can be provided in advance.
What I need back:
• High-accuracy 3D scan data cleaned up for modeling
• Final solid model of each panel in .dxf, .dwg, and .ai formats compatible with CNC cutting (plus the native file from your preferred software—SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
• A quick visual PDF or JPG of each panel so I can verify shape before sign-off
Acceptance:
The CAD must match the real parts closely enough that a replacement can be CNC-cut or 3D-printed without secondary fitting. If you already have a portable 3D scanner or access to one, please mention the system you plan to use and your typical dimensional tolerance.
