CAD Model: Titanium Moonphase Dial and alignment fixture
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a clean CAD file for a titanium watch dial that will sit on a Sellita SW288-1 moonphase movement and go straight to CNC machining. The drawing only has to cover the essentials, but every dimension must be spot-on to the movement’s dial-side specs and the dial feet diameter, length and back of dial position.
Key details to include
• Central hole sized 2.0mm with beveled edge and positioned for the cannon pinion
• Arc shaped moonphase aperture with veveled edge correctly aligned with the SW288-1 moonphase disc and according to the size and shape provided in drawing on the technical sheet from Sellita.
• Date window cut-out in the factory location with beveled edge and at the 3:00 position.
• Overall dial diameter 36.6mm , feet positions, and thickness that match Sellita’s technical sheet
Scope is intentionally focused on a basic manufacturable blueprint—no surface texturing or decorative detailing for now. A single 3D model STEP file for the dial and a holding fixture plus a quick 2D reference drawing for the dial and holding fixture with callouts is all that’s required.
* Additional requrement: I need a clean CAD file for a holding fixture for the dial that will hold the dial and go straight to CNC machining. The fixture will need to be exact for positioning of the dial at the 12:00 position at the top of the dial and the 6:00 posiition at the bottom of the dial, 9:00 positioning to the left of the dial and 3:00 positioning at the right of the dial. The fixture holes will need to be chamfered for insetion of the dial feet. The fixture holdes will need to be .1mm larger in diameter than the dial feet
Completion of the project will be determined by approval by the CAD/CAM operator to determine machinability of the design.
I will be submitting the STEP files for the dial and holding fixture to pcbway and xometry for confirmation and machining.
The dial schematics are located on pages 22 and 23 of the provided Technical Sheet from Sellita.
