3D CAD Model & Render of Welding Rack

Job ID: 39919007

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Project Overview:
We need a 3D CAD model and photorealistic rendering created from our existing technical PDF drawings of an industrial welding rack (Drawing Number: E7409, dated 1/16/2025).

The rack is used for holding welding machines and related equipment in an industrial environment. The goal is to produce both a precise CAD model for fabrication and a high-quality render for marketing and presentation use.

Design Details

Name: Welding Rack
Drawing Reference: E7409
Dimensions: Approx. 42.375″ L × 40.000″ W × 41.500″ H

Materials:

Frame: 1.5″ × 1.5″ × 3/16″ Hot-Rolled Steel (HRS) Square Tubing

Shelves: 11-Gauge HRS Sheet (8 shelves total)

Corner & Base Plates: 1/4″ HRS

Finish: Smooth welds with industrial matte black or raw steel texture

Construction Notes:

Include all welded joints and plates as shown in drawings

Add 4 caster wheels (industrial style, ~4″ diameter)

Chamfer or round edges slightly (0.1–0.2″) for realism

Maintain dimensional accuracy ±1/16″

Deliverables Required

3D CAD Files

Editable parametric CAD model

Include all parts and assemblies (tubing, shelves, plates, casters)

2D drawings (front, side, top, isometric) with dimensions

Label all parts according to the PDF drawings

Photorealistic Renders

Minimum 2–3 high-resolution renders (1920×1080 or higher)

Renders should include:

Studio shot (clean background, even lighting)

Workshop environment shot (metallic reflections, mild ambient light)

Optional hero shot with two welding machines placed on shelves

Material textures must show mild wear, matte steel, and smooth weld seams.

File Formats

Please include native CAD file + exported STEP (.step or .stp)

Render outputs in .PNG or .JPG (preferably PNG for transparent background)

Optional: Include STL for 3D printing preview

Future Compatibility

We will use this model for:

Manufacturing / fabrication drawings

Product renderings for marketing

Integration into larger workshop layouts

We currently use:

Fusion 360

SolidWorks

AutoCAD / Inventor

Please recommend which CAD file type (STEP, IGES, SLDPRT, F3D, etc.) will give us the best long-term flexibility for editing, fabrication, and rendering.
