CAD & Drawings: Stackable Lash Box
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a production-ready CAD package for an acrylic lash-organizer that goes far beyond a simple cube. The box will be laser-cut or CNC-routed from 3–5 mm clear acrylic and must meet three key requirements:
• Tilt-open door – I already have a concept for the front flap, similar to a shoe-drawer, but I need you to engineer the hinge or linkage so it opens smoothly and remains closed without external latches.
• Stackability – each unit must interlock with the next, creating a stable, non-slip tower that can be built upward without sliding.
• Internal storage – the cavity should accept standard lash tiles; I’ll share the size range I use so you can lay out dividers or rails accordingly.
Deliverables
1. A clean, parametric 3D model (STEP or Fusion 360 preferred) ready for manufacturing.
2. Nested 2D cut files (DXF/SVG) with kerf allowance for 3–5 mm acrylic.
3. Fully dimensioned technical drawings showing all joints, bends, and assembly details.
4. A short assembly guide or exploded view illustrating how the parts fit together.
Acceptance criteria: parts slot together without glue, hardware is specified if essential, and tolerances match common laser-cutting capabilities (±0.1 mm). I’ll supply my size range and sketch of the door idea once we start; two rounds of revisions should be included so we can perfect fit and function.
