This document provides dimensional specifications, architectural requirements, and reference layouts required for CAD development of the Legacy Mark Medallion for MSLA 3D printing production.
1. Overall Envelope
• Outside Diameter: 44.45 mm (1.750 in)
• Total Assembled Thickness: 5.00 mm
• Rope Border Width (radial): 1.80 mm
• Rope Inner Diameter: 40.85 mm
• Target Weight (with SS disc + NFC): 36–38 g
2. Architecture
Two-piece clamshell architecture:
• Front Shell (Cup Geometry)
• Back Insert Shell
• Internal Stainless Steel Disc (304 SS, 3.0 mm thick)
• 25.4 mm recessed NFC (front-mounted)
3. Internal Stainless Steel Disc
• Diameter: 40.85 mm
• Thickness: 3.00 mm
• Tolerance: ±0.05 mm
• Edge break: 0.2 mm chamfer
4. Shell Wall Thickness
• Nominal Resin Wall Thickness: 1.0–1.2 mm
• Minimum allowed: 0.9 mm
• Z-step bonding seat required for shear strength
• Glue gutters: 0.6 mm wide x 0.3 mm deep
5. Alignment & Anti-Rotation
• Primary Key: Triangular pin @ 0° axis
• Secondary Pins: 2 round pins @ 120° spacing

8. Surface Finish Requirements
• All cosmetic faces must be free of support marks
• Front face fully cosmetic
• Back seam concealed under rope geometry
• Designed for MSLA resin shrink (0.5–1%)
