3D CAD Design & Animation of Rollforming Machinery
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
We are looking for a highly skilled 3D CAD designer and animator to create a high-quality product animation of a complex industrial rollforming machine used for Light Gauge Steel manufacturing.
The goal of this project is to produce premium, realistic 3D animations that clearly demonstrate how the machine operates, including key mechanisms, internal systems, and production workflow. The final animation will be used for sales presentations, investor pitches, website marketing, and exhibitions.
About the Machine:
The machine is a light gauge steel rollforming system used to manufacture structural steel framing components for modular construction and housing. It includes multiple mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems that must be visualised clearly.
Scope of Work:
The animation should include:
• Full 3D CAD model of the machine based on drawings, photos, and reference material we will provide
• High-detail industrial rendering of the machine exterior
• Internal mechanism visualisation showing how the machine works
• Animated workflow showing the steel coil feeding into the machine
• Step-by-step animation of rollforming stations shaping the steel
• Punching and cutting operations
• Profile exiting the machine fully formed
• Highlighting key components such as:
• Rollforming stations
• Servo system
• Hydraulic cutting system
• PLC control system
• Auto gauge thickness adjustment
• Material feeding system
Animation Requirements:
• Extremely realistic industrial animation quality
• Smooth camera movements
• Clean professional lighting
• Modern engineering style graphics
• Callouts / labels explaining machine components
• Optional transparent sections to show internal mechanisms
Deliverables:
• Full 3D CAD model of the machine
• 1–2 minute high-quality animation video
• Multiple short clips for marketing use
• High-resolution renders for brochures and website
• Source files included
Preferred Software:
Experience with one or more of the following:
• SolidWorks
• Fusion 360
• Blender
• Cinema 4D
• Autodesk Inventor
• KeyShot
• Unreal Engine (optional for rendering)
Ideal Candidate:
• Strong experience with industrial machinery animation
• Experience animating mechanical systems or manufacturing equipment
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and machine components
• Portfolio showing complex mechanical animations
