Bulk STL-to-STEP Conversion
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I have a set of high-resolution STL models—each between 50 MB and 500 MB—that must be turned into clean, production-ready STEP files for downstream manufacturing. No geometry tweaks or cosmetic changes are needed; the goal is a faithful, watertight translation that machining partners can open in SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar CAD platforms without extra repair work.
We need the files converted for a foundry to produce and print molds. 3 files need to be converted.
You’ll be working with large meshes, so an efficient workflow (e.g., using SolidWorks Premium, Fusion 360, or SpaceClaim with fine-tuned import settings) is essential to avoid lost detail or bloated file sizes.
Deliverables
• One .STEP file (AP214 or AP203) for every supplied .STL, identical in scale, orientation, and tolerance
• Quick validation screenshots or a brief report confirming each body imports as a solid with no open edges or self-intersections
If you have a proven track record handling files of this size and can meet an agreed turnaround, let’s collaborate.
