Brass Item CAD/CAM Drawings
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a simple, functional art piece that fits inside a 15 × 15 × 15 cm envelope. The form is already defined in rough sketches; what is missing is a clean, manufacturing-ready data pack so a machine shop can mill it from solid brass.
Your work is to translate the concept into a full 3D model and generate the accompanying CAM outputs and dimensioned drawings. There are no moving parts and the geometry is straightforward, yet tolerances must be tight so the finished object feels refined rather than ornamental.
Deliverables I need at hand-off:
• Native 3D CAD file (STEP or SolidWorks)
• Fully dimensioned 2D drawings with material call-outs for brass
• CAM toolpaths or setup sheets suitable for a standard 3-axis mill
Files should follow common shop conventions—clear datums, readable layer naming, metric units. Surface finish notes are welcome but not mandatory; the machinist will apply a light brushed texture after milling.
If anything in my sketches is unclear, flag it early so we can lock geometry before you start toolpath generation.
