Brass Ball Valve Design

Job ID: 39725040

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a complete engineering design package for a brass ball valve suited to domestic and light-industrial water systems. The core requirements are a corrosion-resistant brass body, smooth quarter-turn operation, and seals that hold up to typical municipal water pressures and temperatures.

Because the precise line size is still open for discussion, your first task will be to review the operating parameters I provide (flow rate, pressure range, installation envelope) and confirm the optimal bore and port dimensions before we lock in the final model.

Once the key dimensions are agreed, the deliverables I expect are:
• Detailed 3D CAD model in a common format (STEP or SolidWorks)
• Fully toleranced 2D manufacturing drawings, including material call-outs for body, stem, seats, and seals
• Exploded view with part numbers and a concise bill of materials
• Brief design justification covering pressure rating, torque estimate, and seal selection for potable water compliance

A short design report that walks through your calculations or any relevant standards (e.g., ISO 5211, NSF/ANSI 61) will help speed internal approval.

I’m available to answer questions quickly so we can iterate without delay and get the valve ready for prototype machining.
