Blow & Injection Mould Design -- 2
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a skilled mould designer who can take on both blow-mould and injection-mould projects from concept through to fully detailed tooling ready for manufacture. For the injection side the focus is on robust, repeatable production moulds, not one-off prototypes, although if we later decide to run test cavities they will be cutting plastic parts.
You’ll be working with my existing product CAD, refining parting lines, runner layouts and cooling circuits, then delivering complete 3D tool assemblies backed up by clear 2D detail drawings and a basic BOM. Accurate shrinkage, venting and ejection planning are vital because the parts go straight into mass production.
Preferred workflow is SolidWorks or Moldflow or equivalent analysis to anticipate warpage, but I’m open if you have a proven alternative. Experience designing special-purpose machines (SPM) to automate part handling or deflashing is a welcome plus; if you can integrate that thinking into the tool design it will save us time on the production floor.
Deliverables
• Native 3D CAD of blow and injection mould assemblies
• 2D tool drawings with tolerances, steel grades and heat-treat notes
• Moldflow (or similar) reports confirming fill, pack, warp and cycle estimates
• Final BOM and recommended machine parameters
I am ready to supply part geometry and target cycle times as soon as we agree on the schedule. Let me know your relevant experience, lead time for first review, and any questions you need answered before starting.
