Backdated SolidWorks Files Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a simple SolidWorks project (and its accompanying STEP file) that, when I open the file properties, shows it was created and last modified in April 2019. All standard metadata fields must be edited to reflect:
• Creation date: a day of my choosing in April 2019
• Last-modified date: any later day in the same month
• Author: I’ll supply the custom name once we start
• SolidWorks version: display as a 2018 build
• Computer/PC name: a short string I’ll provide at kickoff
Please be sure the same information carries over to the exported STEP file’s header so the dates match when inspected with common viewers.
Deliverables
1. Native SolidWorks part file (.sldprt) with the above metadata
2. Matching STEP file (.step or .stp)
3. Quick text list confirming the exact dates, author string, PC name and SW version you embedded
Acceptance will be based on me opening the files in both SolidWorks and a plain text editor (for the STEP) and seeing those fields exactly as specified.
