BMW 640i Cooling Fins STL
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My BMW 640i AC fins (the adjustable blades inside the air vent that direct airflow) are broken and I want to 3D print them, so I need a production-ready STL file that lets me 3D-print an identical replacement and restore the factory airflow. Accuracy is critical—I want the new part to match the original specifications down to mounting points, curvature, and vent geometry.
I can supply a full set of high-resolution photos from multiple angles, plus measurements you may request, to make sure every rib and clip line up perfectly once printed. If you typically reverse-engineer parts in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable CAD package, that’s ideal; just export the final file in STL format with watertight geometry and correct orientation for printing.
Deliverable
• One clean, print-ready STL file that mirrors the OEM fin exactly
• Any supporting CAD or STEP file you used, in case future tweaks are needed
Acceptance
• Part seats flush on the car without sanding or drilling
• All screw holes and tabs align with existing fixtures
• File passes Meshmixer / Netfabb repair checks with zero non-manifold edges
I need replacement AC vent blades for all three vents — left, center, and right.
Once we confirm fit on a quick prototype print, the project is complete. Let me know the CAD program you prefer and any measurements you’ll need beyond the photos so we can get started right away.
