Automotive Watch CAD & 3D

Job ID: 40527775

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I’m commissioning a complete CAD design for a luxury wrist-watch that draws its lines from high-end automotive design yet keeps a modern, minimalist aesthetic throughout. The goal is to walk away with an engineering-ready, 3D-printable model of every external component—case, strap, crown and buttons—so I can prototype the watch immediately on my own printers.

You’ll translate a set of mood boards (inspired by performance car bodywork, air intakes, and dashboard gauges) into a clean, understated timepiece. While future production runs may be machined in stainless steel, titanium or ceramic, this first phase must be fully optimized for additive manufacturing: think wall-thicknesses, snap-fits, tolerance stacks and print orientations that suit resin, SLS nylon, or metal sintering.

Please build the geometry in a parametric package such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Rhino so minor dimension tweaks remain easy. I’ll provide movement dimensions once we start; design the interior cavity with enough flexibility to accept a standard automatic or quartz module.

Deliverables
• Native CAD file with editable history
• Watertight STL (or 3MF) for each part, grouped logically for printing
• Fully dimensioned drawings and exploded view for assembly
• A brief print & post-processing guide noting tolerances, hardware and recommended materials

Acceptance: files open without errors, all features measure to spec, and the model prints successfully on a mid-range SLA or SLS machine with only light support removal.

If you’re passionate about watches, cars, and precision engineering, I’d love to collaborate on this prototype.
