Automotive Headliner CAD Model
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a complete CAD design for an interior headliner. The scope is limited to the headliner itself, but it must seamlessly integrate two key features I have already defined: discreet LED lighting stripes and an overhead console housing switches and basic storage.
The file you prepare has to fit standard OEM mounting points, follow realistic wall-thickness guidelines for thermoformed or injection-moulded substrates, and leave clean routing paths for the wiring that will power the integrated lighting. I will supply reference dimensions and a rough package drawing of the vehicle’s roof once we agree to start; you will turn these into a fully detailed 3D model ready for tooling.
Please use a mainstream parametric package—SolidWorks, CATIA, NX or similar—so I can edit it later. Your hand-off should include the native file plus a neutral STEP file and a PDF drawing that highlights critical sections, screw boss locations and clip geometry.
To be considered, show me a sample of an interior panel or headliner you have modelled before and briefly outline the software version you will use.
