Automatic BBQ Roller Design -- 2
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am looking for a mechanically minded designer who can turn my concept video of a steel-fabricated, automatic BBQ roller into a full, shop-ready package within the next one to two weeks. The goal is a set of drawings and 3D files simple enough that any metal fabricator can pick them up and build the unit without follow-up questions. Please check below videos for reference.:

Scope
The design must show every part and fastener, illustrate how each sub-assembly fits together, and explain the drive system well enough to support an adjustable rolling speed. I also want a sturdy multi-level grill support integrated into the frame so different foods can cook simultaneously. While I don’t need full electrical schematics, please size and indicate the appropriate motor, gearbox, and speed-control components so the fabricator understands mounting points and clearances.
Preferred tools are SolidWorks or Inventor for 3D modelling and drawing generation, though I am happy to review STEP files if your workflow differs.
Deliverables (required)
• 3D CAD model of the complete roller
• Fabrication drawings with dimensions, weld symbols, and tolerances
• Exploded-view assembly guide with part numbers and clear sequencing
• Basic bill of materials listing purchasable components, motor, and hardware
• Short write-up on the speed-control approach, including motor specs and adjustment range
Timeline
I’d like the first draft in a week and the final set approved by the end of the second week.
When you send your proposal, please outline the approach you’ll take, reference similar metalwork projects you have completed, and include a concise project schedule so I know you can meet the deadline. I’m eager to get this rolling—literally—so let’s build something great together.
