Autodesk Inventor Model from Scan

I have a scanned version of an old hand-drawn technical drawing that needs to live again as a fully editable Autodesk Inventor model. The original dimensions on the scan must be followed precisely because the file will go to manufacturing once approved.

What I will supply
• A high-resolution scan of the drawing and any notes that came with it. All dimensions are provided in inches.
• Prompt answers to dimensional or feature questions so you never have to guess.

What I need back
• A native Autodesk Inventor file ( .ipt or .iam ) built with clean, parametric features—named sketches, organised browser tree, and sensible constraints.
• All critical dimensions, hole call-outs and radii replicated exactly from the drawing. All dimensions on the new drawing should be in metric.
• Optional STEP export for quick sharing with the shop.

Please flag anything ambiguous in the scan before modelling, and keep the model manufacturable—no cosmetic shortcuts that break when a dimension changes. If you’ve restored legacy drawings before, I’d love to see a sample.
