AutoCAD Solar Roof Racking Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an experienced drafter who can open AutoCAD, pull up IronRidge Design Assistant (or an equivalent tool you know inside-out), and turn a flat-roof office building into a well-documented commercial solar site. Each assignment starts with my roof dimensions, panel count, and basic structural data; you handle the rest—selecting IronRidge parts, optimising the layout, and exporting a clean material list that purchasing can act on immediately.
Because these drawings go straight to permitting, accuracy is everything. I’m expecting:
• A clearly layered DWG set: plan view, section details, attachment points and setbacks
• The IronRidge-generated bill of materials with part numbers, quantities and weights
• Load calculations that prove the system meets code for a flat commercial roof
Our workflow will be ongoing: impress me by showing you can design a solar racking roof system and work without asking me for every detail. If you know what you are doing, this is a great project. on this first package and I’ll funnel you a steady stream of similar projects. If you already have sample IronRidge or AutoCAD racking files, feel free to share a snippet so I can see your style. Let’s get this first office roof wrapped up and move on to the next one.
